Refund Policy
How refunds work for project work and for Shopify app charges billed through Shopify.
Last updated: October 6, 2026.
Professional services
Discovery, audits and project deposits are billed as described in the proposal. Completed work is generally not refundable. If we have not started a paid phase, we can refund that unused phase. If a project is cancelled mid-phase, we invoice for work already done and refund the unused remainder if a prepaid balance exists. Custom development, theme builds and migrations cannot be “returned.”
Shopify apps
App subscriptions are charged by Shopify. Shopify’s billing cycle, prorating and merchant-to-Shopify refund rules apply first.
- Unused time in a billing period is handled according to the Shopify charge and our app listing.
- If the app was unavailable or materially failed to provide the documented core feature, email [email protected] with the shop domain, charge ID and dates. We will review in good faith and, where appropriate, refund via Shopify.
- Refunds are not available solely because you uninstalled after using the app, changed strategy, or expected a result we did not document (including revenue or ranking outcomes).
- Trials, if offered, are the intended period to evaluate the product.
Chargebacks
Contact us before filing a chargeback. We can usually resolve billing faster through Shopify or a services invoice than through a card dispute.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] (services) or [email protected] (apps) with your name, store URL, what was purchased and why you are requesting a refund. We aim to respond within five business days.
