This policy explains what ElvoApps collects through elvoapps.com, project forms and our Shopify apps — and what we do with it.

Who we are
ElvoApps is a Shopify technology and growth partner. Contact: [email protected]. Privacy questions: the same address until a dedicated DPO is published.
Information we collect
- Identity and contact data you submit on Start a project or Contact (name, email, company, store URL, project details).
- Technical data such as IP address, user agent and referring page, stored with leads to prevent abuse and to understand which page converted.
- Marketing attribution (UTM parameters) when present on the form submission.
- Usage data from analytics tools you enable (for example Google Analytics 4 or Meta Pixel) if those IDs are configured for this site.
- App-related data as described in each app’s listing and in-app notices — typically shop domain, install status and the merchant-configured settings required to run the app.
How we use it
- To reply to project and support enquiries.
- To operate and improve ElvoApps Shopify apps for shops that installed them.
- To measure site performance and (where you have consented, if required) advertising effectiveness.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Legal bases (where GDPR/UK GDPR applies)
We process enquiry data to take steps at your request before a contract, and to pursue legitimate interests in running a business (responding to merchants, securing the site). Analytics and advertising cookies are used according to the Cookie Policy and any consent tool in place.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data with processors who help us run email, hosting, analytics and Shopify itself. Shopify receives data you provide when you install an app. We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention
Leads are kept for as long as needed to manage the sales and support relationship, then deleted or anonymized. App data follows the Shopify app lifecycle: we delete or anonymize shop data after uninstall within the timeframes Shopify requires, unless a longer period is legally necessary.
Your rights
Depending on your location you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you may object to certain processing. Email [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
International transfers
Infrastructure may be located outside your country. We use providers that offer appropriate safeguards where required.
Children
This site and our apps are intended for business users, not children.
